Bradleys were delighted to be selected by NE Contractors to carry out specialist surfacing of an important footpath at Chelsea’s training ground in Cobham.

The system that was used incorporated a dark green EPDM rubber from Gezolan AG and a binder from MRI Polytech.  The rubber was laid at a depth of 15mm over an area of 104m².  The rubber is a great alternative to a tarmac as it gives a much more comfortable surface to walk on and is better suited to various types of sporting footwear. The porous surface also means that you don’t have any standing water.  The large availability of colours of the rubber means the surface’s RAL colour reference ties in with other colours at the site such as the fencing, making it visually pleasing.
