Project Description

The Bradleys team were masters at work in April, laying the EPDM rubber layer on the new daily mile track at St James School in Elstead, Surrey.

Bradleys were instructed to install the track as part of the school’s commitment to the Daily Mile Scheme – a simple and free initiative, which encourages children to run or walk a mile a day.

The team constructed 225m² of porous rubber running track in red, with a recycled type 1 stone sub-base with steel ‘everedge’ for the neatest edge possible. All rubber products were supplied from MRI Polytech.
